Dutsi Rilbu (bdud rtsi ril bu), also known as nangchö rilbu (nang mchod ril bu) or holy nectar pills are a traditional substance used in the preparation of the inner offering nectar, a requisite substance for all tantric practices and rituals.
According to Tibetan Buddhist tradition, a tantric practitioner's inner offering nectar is made from either black tea or diluted alcohol mixed with a few drops of his spiritual teacher's inner offering nectar, representing the blessings of the lineage masters. Likewise, the spiritual teacher's inner offering nectar contains a few drops of his teacher's inner offering nectar, and so on.
Similarly, these Dutsi Rilbus are made from the inner offering nectars of the lineage lamas and thus carry the blessings of generations upon generations of supreme tantric masters including H.H. Kyabje Pabongka Rinpoche, H.H. Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche, H.H. Kyabje Zong Rinpoche and H.E. Gangchen Rinpoche.
