About Dorje Shugden
Dorje Shugden is a special Dharma Protector who quickly fulfils wishes and sincere prayers. He brings healing, harmony and peace, protects from harm and obstacles, and attracts opportunities for success and growth.
Known as a wealth Buddha, he brings sincere devotees vast merits and material resources for virtuous activities. As a wrathful emanation of Manjushri, he grants improved concentration, clarity of mind and great wisdom to anyone who propitiates him.
Dorje Shugden brandishes a sword in his right hand, cutting away our ignorance and negative states of mind which are the basis of all our suffering. In his left hand, he holds a heart jewel that symbolises the legendary wish-fulfilling jewel that can grant us whatever we desire, and our deepest innermost wish – enlightenment.
His practice is incredibly effective because of our strong affinity and karmic connection with him. He is also the special protector of the 600-year-old Gelugpa lineage founded by Lama Tsongkhapa.
About Gyenze the Wishfulfiller
Gyenze is the special "increase" form of the enlightened protector Dorje Shugden. Also known as Ratna Shugden, he can bring outer wealth for success in personal, career or business goals, and inner wealth for spiritual growth, higher realisations and happiness across lifetimes. In particular, he is known to increase lifespan, material resources, merit, and all that is good.
With a body that is rich yellow-gold in colour, Gyenze holds a long life vase containing the branch of a wish-granting tree in his right hand, while his left carries a bowl filled with precious jewels, symbolic of his ability to bring us material resources and abundance in all aspects. Adorned with rich yellow robes, he rides a divine yellow palomino horse, symbolic of his ability to come to our aid swiftly.
About Wangze
Wangze is the special "control" form of the enlightened protector Dorje Shugden. Also known as Pema Shugden, he brings stability of mind and positive influence over people and situations for virtuous reasons. In this way, he can help us improve our relationships with others, such as family, friends, superiors and subordinates.
With a body that is blood-red in colour, Wangze holds a taming vajra hook tied with red silks in his right hand and a jeweled noose in his left, symbolic of his ability to bind our negativities that cause suffering and subjugate negative situations. Adorned with red silk garments, he smiles flirtatiously in a wrathful manner and rides upon a turquoise dragon, a mythical creature symbolic of power, strength and all that is auspicious.
About Shize
Shize is the special "pacifying" form of the enlightened protector Dorje Shugden. Also known as Vairochana Shugden, he is known for his ability to purify negative karma, pacify natural disasters and calamities, and is especially efficacious for overcoming illness and disease. His blessings also calm the immediate environment, help us overcome life's obstacles, and attract the positive energies of peace, protection and wisdom.
With a body that is pure white in colour, Shize holds a five-coloured arrow adorned with a mirror in his right hand, while his left carries a noose, symbolic of his ability to bind our negativities that cause suffering. Adorned with flowing white robes of silk, he rides the King of Elephants, symbolic of mental strength and steadfastness.
About Trakze
Trakze is the exceedingly "wrathful" form of the enlightened protector Dorje Shugden. Also known as Karma Shugden, he grants supreme protection from harm, spirits and black magic, and helps us overcome the most difficult obstacles and powerful delusions.
With a body that is very dark red in colour, Trakze holds aloft a large razor-edged sword in his right hand, while his left holds a bleeding heart, symbolic of his ability to conquer our inner and outer enemies and overcome obstructors. Adorned with black silk robes, he rides upon a powerful Garuda, a mythical bird of great symbolism in both Hinduism and Buddhism.
