You can also dedicate to loved ones who are still with you for good fortune, to remove obstacles, and to illuminate their spiritual path. The Qing Ming Filial Package includes:

  • 2 x Qing Ming tablets
  • 2 x 1-ft dragon incense (set of 3)
  • 2 x flower offerings (stalk)
  • 1 month light offerings

Our sangha and pastors will make prayers and offerings on your behalf, and dedicate the merits according to your wishes during the Qing Ming Remembrance Puja at Kechara Forest Retreat.

Qing Ming Offering Service

  • Offerings and dedication of merits for orders placed by April 4, 2025 (Fri) 11.59pm (GMT +8) will be performed on your behalf during the Qing Ming Remembrance puja at Kechara Forest Retreat on April 5, 2025 (Sat).
  • All other orders will be fulfilled by April 11, 2025 (Fri).
  • This is an offering service and no product will be shipped.

Requesting a Service

  1. Set a positive intention before requesting the offering service. The purer your intention, the greater the merit generated.
  2. Select your desired offering quantity, size and style (where applicable).
  3. In the “Sponsor” section: Provide the name of the sponsor (benefactor).
  4. In the “Dedication” section: Provide the name of the person/entity the offering is dedicated to. You can include a specific wish or request. Our sangha/pastors will dedicate the merits according to your wishes.
  5. After submitting your offering service request, rejoice and dedicate the merits.
  6. We will inform you by email once your offering has been fulfilled.

About Qing Ming

Qing Ming is one of the most important Chinese cultural festivals. During this time, it is customary to visit the graves or memorials of the dearly departed as an expression of filial piety. Food, flowers and joss paper paraphernalia are also offered, as it is believed these will provide a more comfortable afterlife.

For Buddhists however, death is not the end but the beginning of a new journey. Thus, the living can help the deceased gain a better rebirth through dedications of merits, which are generated through virtuous deeds such as offering candles, incense and prayers to the Buddhas.

About Medicine Buddha

Medicine Buddha is the Supreme Healer who bestows inner and outer healing. He brings swift recovery and medical relief for those in need, protects us from illnesses and disease, and grants strength and clarity of mind. He also purifies the negative karma of the body, and blesses all beings who see his image.

His blessings are especially potent for anyone in the healing profession (doctors, nurses, surgeons, healers, psychologists, etc.) and also for patients seeking doctors, treatment, diagnosis, healing and effective medicine.

About Dorje Shugden

Dorje Shugden is a special Dharma Protector who quickly fulfils wishes and sincere prayers. He brings healing, harmony and peace, protects from harm and obstacles, and attracts opportunities for success and growth.

Known as a wealth Buddha, he brings sincere devotees vast merits and material resources for virtuous activities. As a wrathful emanation of Manjushri, he grants improved concentration, clarity of mind and great wisdom to anyone who propitiates him.
