A two-toned brass Parinirvana Stupa which represents the Buddha’s limitless holy mind. It is the last of the Eight Great Stupas that symbolise eight great events in the life of Buddha Shakyamuni. As its name implies, it represents the parinirvana of the historical Buddha. It is also a potent reminder that His complete absorption into the highest state of mind — Enlightenment — is beyond death.
The Parinirvana Stupa's most distinctive feature is the bell-shaped body atop a round double lotus base. The top is adorned by a parasol with thirteen descending "rings" below while the center features a square balcony-like structure.
The hollow interior can be filled with sacred items such as holy pills, precious relics, mantras and other blessed objects. Place on the altar, in the shrine room or meditation area for daily veneration.
