A genuine hand-beaten full moon singing bowl for use in meditation sessions, sound healing or to symbolise the offering of sound on a Buddhist altar. Made from seven-metal alloy which includes gold, silver, copper, iron, tin, mercury and lead, it produces a deep, rich and enduring sound that calms the mind and uplifts the spirit. The side of the bowl is engraved with Chenrezig's mantra of compassion — OM MANI PEME HUM.
Genuine full moon singing bowls are rare as they are handmade only once a month directly under the light of the full moon and further consecrated on full moon night with prayers performed by Tibetan Buddhist monks.
They are said to harness the energy of the moon to produce subtle healing vibrations that can improve the energy in the surrounding area. Can be used in combination with holy items and protective amulets to fill your space with positive energies and the blessings of the Buddhas.
