A traditional Chöd damaru handcrafted from wood and adorned with five-coloured silks and a brocade girdle decorated with small conch shells. Used during Chöd rituals, the sound of the drum represents impermanence and the cutting of our ego.
The damaru tail (chopen) is made from five-coloured silks, representing the five Buddha families — Vairochana (white), Amoghasiddhi (green), Amitabha (red), Ratnasambhava (yellow) and Akshobhya (blue).
Store respectfully in a clean and nice place when not in use. Includes a traditional brocade protective case.
