About Trijang Rinpoche

His Holiness Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche was one of the greatest Gelugpa lineage masters of recent times. A close student of His Holiness Kyabje Pabongka Rinpoche and the junior tutor of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, Trijang Rinpoche was an unrivalled scholar, a master debater and the holder of many precious lineages of sutra and tantra.

Many consider him to be an emanation of the Tantric Buddha Vajrayogini. Above all, he is highly revered for the role he played in the preservation and continuation of Lama Tsongkhapa's pure lineage in its entirety.

About Zong Rinpoche

His Holiness Kyabje Zong Rinpoche was a highly accomplished spiritual master and one of the greatest Gelugpa lineage masters of recent times. A powerful tantric practitioner, he was renowned for his legendary scholastic achievements, debating prowess and mastery of the most difficult rituals. He was the abbot of Gaden Shartse Monastery from 1937-1946, and is the root guru of His Eminence Tsem Rinpoche.
