A traditional Tibetan Buddhist amulet containing the essence, power and wealth attracting energies of the enlightened Dharma Protector Namtose. Handmade and consecrated by monks, the Namtose chakra is effective for attracting material and spiritual wealth, and encourages the practice of ethics. It also bestows powerful protection, increases positive energies, and helps overcome life's challenges.

Complement the power of this chakra by chanting the mantra:
OM BAY SHAWAR NIY YE SOHA

  • Available in original un-encased form, or with a custom-fitted acrylic casing to protect the delicate chakra from damage and keep it dry.
  • As each chakra is individually handmade by monks, colours may vary from the picture shown.

ENHANCED BLESSINGS (while stocks last)
This item has been enhanced in a Tibetan Ruel Recharge Puja conducted by very senior members of the monastic community at Kechara Forest Retreat.

About Chakras

Tibetan chakras are traditional protective talismans/amulets that contain miniature mandalas and circular mantras of a specific Buddhist deity. Called sungkhor in Tibetan, which literally means “protection wheel”, each mandala is folded in a prescribed manner, accompanied by recitations of prayers and mantras. It is then wrapped with colourful strings to create a unique handwoven design.

Finally, the completed chakra is consecrated by lamas and monks to invoke the deity’s energy and blessings. As a result, chakras of different deities have specific benefits based on the enlightened quality that is typically associated with that particular Buddha-deity.

About Namtose

Namtose, also known as Vaishravana in Sanskrit, is one of the Four Heavenly Kings, the Guardian of the Northern direction. He has two main aspects — as a warrior protector and as a deity of wealth.

As one of the primary protectors of the Gelugpa school of Tibetan Buddhism, one of his specific functions is to protect the Middle Scope of the Lamrim. As the Warrior of Wealth, his blessings help us overcome financial challenges, gain success and prosperity, and protect against negative energies and harm.
